Autumn brings new life, new learning experiences to Hosoi

The furin bell chimes in a sweet, almost calming manner as the fresh autumn air sweeps through the bamboo stalks and over the tightly layered roofs of Hosoi. This passing year might have been tough on everyone, but the sights and sounds of the ever-growing population of role players, buyers and Okiya members consistently reminds us that the beauty invested in the sweeping hills and authentic charm of the Amiryu Hosoi's masterpiece is not in vain. However, with the passing of times does bring change. This fall, as well as the coming year; is anticipated to be filled with new hope and success by one particular section of these wonderful Sims: Japan Kansai. With the flood of new clan role players and Samurai, as well as the various new additions (such as the Academy, Pearl Merchant, Fish Mongler and the Ramen Shop); the village in Japan Kansai hopes to bring a more dynamic and involved community of Japanese culture lovers.

Along with this enhancement is the change in the workings at Nakanoshima Okiya. With recent set backs, Miyako Akina as well as the rest of the Okiya expects to move forward and jump over the hurdles that have held them back before. Now offering a large array of classes and a more dedicated service, the beautiful Maiko and Geiko of your own Hosoi hope to soon be releasing a more solid schedule of performance and Ochaya (tea house) openings. Furthermore, they are also open for patrons to hire them for private events, they promise to not let you down! As a final note and as a teacher at Nakanoshima, I am opening up a selection of my classes to interested Japanese/Geisha culture enthusiasts.
